After my frustration of having a positive ROI in the Stock Market Game, I decided to take a break from abusing my competition portfolio. Instead of trying to lose and winning, I made a few new contests for myself to further my education.

I just can't seem to go negative and stay negative. It's frustrating.

I don't wanna keep winning, and I'm very glad that Colton took the lead in first place, although I'm not sure how he bought penny stocks...

I'm the only person I know who loves failure as much as I do. The philosophy's simple: you learn more from failure than success. Considering I'm in high school, where the focus is learning, this philosophy serves me very well (especially when the progress report comes home =).

I still participate in class, by the way. Most of the time I continue to doing homework, with the exception of mastered, redundant material (i.e. most math).

I encountered one problem: if I failed too much, I would lose opportunities to learn -- defeating the purpose.
I solved that problem: if I fail as much as I can without having an F, I can continue to utilize said opportunities. (It's tricky.)

Mr. Newton, my Government · Economics teacher, announced the Stock Market Game yesterday. Is it obvious what my goal is? Failure without an F.

Problem? The reward for winning is extra credit; I can't exactly fail. I can lose, though.
Goal? Lose as badly as possible. Considering the SMG uses a mock portfolio, there's no monetary consequence.

I went to the library after school yesterday, (naturally) buying the worst stocks I found, and now I'm rank 1 of 67. "Grr," is an understatement...
